MITS Biotechnology Issues Exam Form Fill-Up Notice for M.Sc. 1st Semester Students

MITS School of Biotechnology has released an official notice dated 10th December 2025 regarding the form fill-up schedule for the M.Sc. 1st Semester (Regular & Back) Examination 2025. Students from the Regular 2025–26 batch and Back 2024–25 & 2023–24 batches must complete their university-prescribed forms on the specified dates. Mandatory requirements include 75% attendance and clearance of dues, which must be verified in person. The form submission schedule is as follows:

Without Fine: 16th December 2025
With Late Fine ₹200: 17th December 2025
With Late Fine ₹500: 18th December 2025
Emergency Late Fee ₹2000: Up to one week before the exam
Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Mishra, HOD of Biotechnology, has been instructed to display attendance percentages and forward relevant details to the Director. Copies of the notice have been distributed across key departments and hostels.

The IBM AI Skill Building Workshop held at MITS Bhubaneswar on November 29, 2025 provided students with an inspiring and hands-on learning experience in emerging technologies. Organized in collaboration with IBM and NASSCOM Foundation, the workshop aims to strengthen industry-ready AI skills through focused, hands-on training. Students explore the core concepts of artificial intelligence, real-world applications, and the growing impact of generative AI in various fields. The bootcamp included expert sessions on industry trends, essential skills and IBM certification pathways, followed by in-depth modules on fundamental AI and GenAI workflows. Interactive teaching, practical exercises and guidance from tutors kept the sessions engaging and effective. The event concluded with a Q&A session and the announcement of the IBM Digital Certification, which provides students with valuable credentials recognized in all industries. Overall, the workshop provided students with future-ready skills and a strong foundation in today’s rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Biotechnology (2023 AB) back students are informed to fill up their university examination forms for +3 1st and 3rd Semester Back Examinations 2025 (under CBCS Model Syllabus) as per the given schedule — without fine by 06.11.2025, with fine of Rs.200 by 07.11.2025, and with late fine of Rs.500 by 08.11.2025. Emergency late fee of Rs.2000 will be applicable prior to one week of examination. Students must verify their correct back papers with Dr. Diptipriya Sethi (Exam Coordinator) before submission.

Utkal University: Re-Scheduling of 2nd Semester Theory & Practical Examinations 2025
